The Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend returns for it’s 13th year in 2024!
This popular 3 day event starts in East Grinstead on Saturday 4th May, moving to Haywards Heath on Sunday 5th May and finished in Burgess Hill on Monday 6th May. Whether it’s your first event or you are a seasoned runner, this event is an opportunity to test yourself and engage with fellow competitors.
Participants can challenge themselves to complete an individual town race, or complete the full marathon distance of 26.2 miles over three days. Younger participants and new runners can enter the Mid Sussex Fun Runs and Mid Sussex Mile races, PLUS runners unable to attend the live event can still take part in our virtual race!

16th April to 1st May, our virtual event provides an opportunity for everyone to take part, so you can join in from anywhere!
Mid Sussex Fun Run
Family friendly and ideal for all ages
Takes place each day at 9.30am. Super Hero & other fancy dress welcome. Everyone wins a medal.
Mid Sussex Mile
A chip timed event for children 7 years and over.
Takes place each day before the main event. Prizes and medals awarded.

Kangaroos runs fun and social activities for people with severe learning disabilities and offers unrivalled support for its members and their families.
