The Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend concludes on Monday 1st May with a 10k race in Burgess Hill.
Date: Monday 7th May 2018
Start time: The Mid Sussex Wellbeing Mile 9.30am, Burgess Hill 10K 10.30am
Location: The race start and finish is at The Burgess Hill Academy (formerly Oakmeeds Community College), Station Road, Burgess Hill, West Sussex, RH15 9EA.
Route: The race starts on The Burgess Hill Academy playing field and exits via Woodlands Meed School onto Chanctonbury Road. Runners then run up Chanctonbury Road to Nightingale Meadows where they do two laps of the fields before returning to the College by the same route.

Water Stations: Water will be available for all participants at approximately every 3 miles during the race, with additional water available at the start and finish. Participants are urged to ensure they are hydrated fully before beginning the race and if the weather is likely to be warm, you should consider carrying your own supply of water as well.
Prizes: All finishers will receive a medal and, in addition, prizes will be available for race winners and winners of age categories. The prizes will be awarded approximately 60 minutes after the first finisher. Prizes will be on offer and medals will awarded to those who have completed all three races and covered the 26.2 miles over three days.
Timing: The race will incorporate chip timing so chips will be posted out to participants along with race number prior to the event. The timing chips are disposable and therefore do not need to be handed in after the race.
Results: Results will be displayed via this website as soon as possible after the race. Race results will also be emailed within a few hours of the race to all participants who have provided a legible email address.
Facilities: Within the Race HQ area there will be a secure baggage storage area, toilets, and refreshments. However, there are no showers or dedicated changing facilities and runners are advised to attend ready to run. There will be a range of attractions for all ages in the surrounding area.
Parking: There will be limited car parking available for participants and spectators. Please use Queens Crescent Car Park, RH15 9DR or Town Centre Car Parks. Signage and marshals will be available to direct you.
Mid Sussex Wellbeing Mile: The Mid Sussex Wellbeing Mile fun runs will be at 9.30am before each of the main races. The Mile fun runs are a great opportunity for juniors, adults and families to be involved in the Weekend event. Every finisher will receive a medal, with trophies for the top boys and girls.
