If you prefer to run with others and get involved in local events, pop along to your local Parkrun. Amazingly Parkrun UK events are free! Moreover they are a great way to meet others and feel part of the local community. Before your first run you will need to register on their website here.
Don’t forget the Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend gives you the choice of running a Mile Race, Fun Fun, 10 Miles 10K or a Marathon distance. Why not enter and make this your 2019 goal?

We can’t praise our willing volunteers enough, they really are the lifeblood of the Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend. From staffing venues to directing runners and providing motivation & support they certainly make this event happen!

The Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend is now all set to include 9 events and we are excited to announce the popular Haywards Heath 10 Mile will follow a new route.
The 2 lap format will continue to start on South Road but a new section of the route has been designed to take runners through Beech Hurst Gardens and Bolnore Village to avoid the busy Traunstein Way, providing a safer route for participants and volunteer marshals.
The East Grinstead 10 Mile and Burgess Hill 10K routes will remain the same.
2017 entry frees held until end of day Sunday 1st October for all 2018 entries!
So just 3 days left to make the most of this offer, heres how to enter.

We kick off the MSMW 2017 tomorrow at East Grinstead, so all that’s left to say is the very best of luck to all runners, we think are truly amazing. Not running? you can still get involved.

We are still in need of a few more marshals, in order for the event to go smoothly and to provide the runners with a safe and trouble-free experience.
